Changing passwords regularly is a nice way to avoid your
account from being simply logged into by any party. It is a way of protecting
your account’s data. Altering your Yahoo Messenger's password oftenly is one
that you should also do, as that one password can access into the other Yahoo
personalized services like Yahoo E-mail, Yahoo Chat, My Yahoo, and Yahoo
Finance. Therefore, when you alter the password of your Yahoo Messenger, the
passwords for your other personalized services will also be changed
automatically.
To change it in Yahoo Messenger is not hard. First, you will
have to go into from you Yahoo Messenger account, or any of your Yahoo
accounts. At the login Homepage, enter your Yahoo ID and your present one. Then
you will be headed to your account. Click your user name, where a drop down
menu will come into view. Of the options, go to 'Account Info'. A dialog will come
into view asking for your password once more. Then you will be led to the
Account Info page. Go to 'Change your Yahoo! Password', which is located under
the Sign-In and Security heading.
In the 'Change your Yahoo! Password' heading, you will need
to feed your current password, the new password, and then retype the new
password to verify that you did not mistype the desired password. Then, click
on 'Save' button. After this, a note will come into view saying that you have
successfully changed your password. However, if it did not match, you will have
to refill the data. After receiving the message saying you have successfully
changed, click 'Continue'. You will be led to the account sign-in settings
page. Type the new code you have changed, and then click 'Sign In'. You can now
access your account data. Hence, you know that your new password did certainly
change.
